How to order
¨ All items are custom made to order in your choice of metals and colours of crystals and pearls. If you wish to purchase the item exactly as pictured and described then please leave the colour box empty.
¨ To purchase personalised wine glass charms, please contact me at info@charmsandtiaras.co.uk providing details of the colour charm you would like, the text you would like and your choice of crystals. We can then work together to ensure that we create exactly the right charms you would like.
¨ Please provide me with adequate contact details for you so that I can confirm your order and let you know when your item is ready to be sent to you.
¨ Bespoke items: If you wish to purchase an item but it is not available on the website in the style you would like then please email your requirements and I will make your item to your specification.
Ordering wine glass charms
When ordering your wine glass charms you have several choices. The easiest way is to email me to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, you can purchase the quantity of charms you would like and add them to your shopping basket. Please note that due to the costs and time involved in making these charms I can only accept orders of 5 and above. If you require more than ten charms please purchase one charm and I will send you an invoice for the correct amount. There is no limit to the quantity you can order, I can cater for corporate orders of several hundred also. Please note the options available for order gift cards and organza bags also. When you check out via paypal please let me know:
(a) What shape charm you would like.
(b) What colour charm you would like.
(c) What colour ring you would like - gold or silver.
(d) What text you would like for each charm (please bear in mind the shape of the charm and how much text will fit comfortably.
(e) Your choice of colour glass or swarovski crystal or pearl.
(f) Your choice of separator bead (ie small silver, small gold, cream faux pearl or ivory faux pearl).
Choosing the right length for your bracelet or necklace
¨ All our jewellery is made to your preferred length. The measurements shown on all of the necklace and bracelet pages are from end to end and include the clasps.
¨ The easiest way is to ensure you order the right length is to measure a bracelet or necklace you already have and are happy with. If the length you would like is not shown as an option simply let us know the length you would like when placing your order and we will make it for you.
¨ To measure for a bracelet, wrap a tape measure around your wrist bone and then add 1 inch to that measurement to find the correct length for you.
¨ Detailed below is a guide to necklace lengths. Please note that people’s neck sizes are very different so this is an approximate guide only.
14” Petite choker length
16” Choker length
18” Will reach the collarbone
20” Will fall a few inches below the collarbone
¨ Again, necklaces can be made in any length you would like. Please note that for extra long necklaces a small additional fee may be added.
Delivery times and postage/packaging
¨ All pieces are handmade to order, and I am to complete your order within 14 days.
¨ I can usually accommodate urgent/rush orders but please contact me prior to placing order if you require this service.
¨ Tiaras are carefully packaged, using layers of acid free tissue paper and a lovely presentation box, they are posted in protective cardboard outer box.
¨ Jewellery comes carefully packaged in gift boxes.
¨ Please contact me if you wish to purchase several items and I will happily combine postage costs for you. Orders under £50.00 will be sent by recorded delivery and orders with a value over £50.00 will be sent by special delivery.
Payment
¨ UK customers may pay by credit/debit cards, cheque, postal orders and bankers draft. If you wish to pay by cheque please contact me for further details.
¨ PayPal: Available for all customers. You do not need a Paypal account to pay.
¨ As each piece is handmade to order, payment in full is required before your order will be processed.
¨ eCheque payments are accepted but do take 7 - 10 days to clear. Please bear this in mind when ordering.
¨ Paypal will debit your card or Paypal account at the time of ordering.
Promotional Discount
¨ If you have a promotional discount you would like to use, please supply the code and state the event where you received the discount card. The amount will then be refunded.
Alterations and repairs
¨ In most cases repairs to items will be made free of charge for up to three months from date of purchase, after which time a charge may apply.
¨ When choosing your jewellery, please follow the size guide. Adjustments may be possible on some pieces of jewellery. The minimum fee charged to resize or alter an item will be £4.00 plus postage per item.
Materials and product quality
¨ Swarovski crystals – These are the highest quality machine faceted, optically pure 32% lead crystal. The facet surfaces are highly polished, creating a sparkle and brilliance unmatched by other crystal beads.
¨ Swarovski pearls – These are the highest quality glass pearl on the market. They have a leaded crystal core that makes them heavier than cheaper imitation pearls and a high lustre pearl coating. They are resistant to scratching.
¨ Freshwater pearls – These are grown inside a mussel and are the result of a foreign object inside the shell. Many pearls, both natural and cultured, have beautiful colour and lustre, making them the perfect item to create stunning and timeless bridal accessories.
¨ Charms and Tiaras take great care in ensuring that every item we make leaves us in perfect condition. If your item is damaged please contact us immediately to arrange an exchange or refund.
¨ As each product is handcrafted, there may be very slight variations to the photo on this website.
¨ All sizes are approximate.
¨ Charms and Tiaras does not take responsibility for any tarnishing that may occur to metals used. Tarnishing is caused by gases which are found naturally in the air. Please see our guidelines on caring for your jewellery.
Caring for your items
¨ As all our items are handmade and are of a delicate nature, please take care and wear your jewellery and tiaras gently. Avoid unnecessary stress at the clasps to prevent breakage.
¨ Always keep your tiara or jewellery dry. Never submerse your item in water by either washing or swimming in it as this can cause discolouration of pearls and crystals and also cause thread to break.
¨ Ideally store your items in their individual gift packaging to avoid scratching, tangling of chains or tarnishing of metals.
¨ Naturally occurring oxidants found in the air and oils in the skin will tarnish your tiara and jewellery. If silver tarnishes it can be easily cleaned up by using a silver cloth, which is a soft duster impregnated with a silver polish.
¨ Never squirt perfume when wearing your jewellery and please protect your tiaras or headdresses from hairspray as this can significantly dull the sparkle of your crystals, discolour pearls and tarnish metals.
¨ Swarovski crystals and pearls can be cleaned by simply buffing them gently with a soft lint free cloth.
¨ Never submerse your personalised wine glass charms in water as this will cause eventual disintegration of your charms.
Cancellations
¨ Orders may be cancelled within 4 working days of receipt of your order. Cancellations after the 4 days have expired will be subject to a 25% labour fee to cover the cost of materials ordered/used and time spent making your item.
¨ The items featured on this website are not intended to be used as toys. Many of the materials used in the making of the products contain very small components and some exposed wire. Therefore, for health and safety reasons, all children should be supervised when wearing these items. Charms and Tiaras will not be held responsible for any injury caused.
¨ Products are available in several metal choices. Please ensure that the metal you choose is suitable for you. Charms and Tiaras cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction that our products may cause. If in doubt please ask prior to ordering
